Biography
Dr. Line Pouchard is a computational scientist who joined the Center for Data-Driven Discovery in the Computational Science Initiative at Brookhaven National Laboratory as a senior researcher in January 2017. She leads multidisciplinary efforts improving scientific data discovery, data management, and curation in scientific domains including Earth and Environmental Sciences, Materials Science, Extreme-scale Computing, Structural Engineering, and National Security. Her research focuses on provenance for workflows at extreme scale, computational reproducibility, and text mining for big data. She has a doctorate from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and an M.S. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
