Dr. Vanessa Sochat is an Engineer for Research Computing at Stanford University. She specializes in system engineering, infrastructure development, and integrations for scientific computational analyses and workflows. She is leading an initiative to bring Research Software Engineering to Stanford, and is lead developer of Singularity Hub, a registry for Linux containers. When not working she enjoys running, biking, and eating avocados.
