Biography
Dr. Vincent Betro received his PhD in Computational Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2010. Since then, he has taught at the university and high school levels, worked with STEM outreach initiatives, and worked with researchers within XSEDE and at ORNL to realize their goals in HPC. Since 2015, he has been teaching Mathematics and Computer Science at the Baylor School, a private, boarding and day school in Chattanooga, TN. He has worked with colleagues to build a STEM research program ecosystem at Baylor, and teaches Honors Geometry and AP Computer Science Principles.
