Ludovic Capelli received his B.Sc. degree in computing science from Napier University in 2015, and was awarded the university medal. He then received his M.Sc. degree in high performance computing with data science from the University of Edinburgh in 2016, and was awarded the highly skilled workforce scholarship. In 2017, he received his M.Sc.R. degree in pervasive parallelism from the University of Edinburgh and was one of the hundred young researchers in computing science selected world-wide to attend the Heidelberg Laureate Forum program. Currently he is a Ph.D. candidate in pervasive parallelism at the University of Edinburgh. His research focuses on the design and implementation of new optimisations in the vertex-centric programming area.
