Biography
Sandra Catalán received the B.Sc. degree, M.Sc. Degree in Intelligent Systems and Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2012, 2013 and 2018, respectively, from the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón, Spain. She joined the Exa2Green project in 2012 and the INTERTWinE project in 2018. Her current research is focused on energy saving on moderate-scale clusters and low-power processors, parallel algorithms for numerical linear algebra and asymmetric architectures. She has also been a visiting researcher at the Foundations of Cognitive Computing group at IBM Research-Zurich, Switzerland, at the University of Texas in Austin, USA, and the Parallel Programming Models group of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center in Barcelona, Spain. Currently, she is working at Barcelona Supercomputing Center.
