Dr. Yutaka Ishikawa is the leader of Fugaku supercomputer development project that deploys the next Japanese flagship supercomputer at RIKEN Center for Computational Science (R-CCS), Japan. From 2002 to 2014, he was a professor at the University Tokyo. From 2010 to 2014, he was also the director of Information Technology Center at the University of Tokyo. From 1987 to 2001, he was a member of AIST (former Electrotechnical Laboratory). From 1993 to 2001, he was the chief of Parallel and Distributed System Software Laboratory at Real World Computing Partnership, Japan.
