Katia is Manager of Scientific Programming & Applications for the Information Services and Technology’s Research Computing Group at Boston University where she is responsible for a team of scientific programmer/analysts supporting researchers at BU utilizing HPC resources. Her current research investigates different approaches to integrating information contained in the network structure of data and assessing their performance using a real world dataset: 35 million laboratory records from South Africa’s National Health Laboratory Service.
