Dr. Guillermo Oyarzun is a Marie Curie post-doc researcher in the Computer Applications & Scientific Engineering department at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), Spain. He is a former High-level support engineer at the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe (PRACE) at BSC and held a Marie Curie post-doc position in the SEDITRANS project in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Patras, Greece. His scientific activity has been developed in the fields of Computer Science applied to Computational Fluid Dynamics, with a focus on the development of new numerical methods and software tools for the emerging technologies in High Performance Computing (HPC).
