Biography
Jairo Panetta has a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA, 1974), a master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA, 1978), and is a PhD in Computer Science from Purdue University (1985). He is currently a Professor (volunteer) in the Computer Science Division at ITA. His research focuses on Computer Architectures, Parallel Processing, High Performance Processing, Scientific Computing and Supercomputing. His work is mainly aimed at programs executed daily in production.
