Biography
Robert Lim is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Oregon working under supervision of Prof. Allen Malony. His interests intersect high performance computing and machine learning, where he is working on optimization approaches for parameter tuning and code generation, and soft error propagation in iterative methods with reduced bit precision. Previously, he was a software developer at FOX Sports for graphics production and live sports broadcasts. Robert has interned at IBM, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, The Alan Turing Institute, and was recently a Chateaubriand Fellow at the Université de Versailles Saint Quentin-En-Yvelines (UVSQ).
