Dr. Michael Klemm obtained an M.Sc. in Computer Science in 2003 and received a Doctor of Engineering degree (Dr.-Ing.) from the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, in 2008. Michael Klemm is a Principal Engineer in the Intel Architecture, Graphics and Software group at Intel in Germany. His areas of interest include compiler construction, design of programming languages, parallel programming, and performance analysis and tuning. Michael joined the OpenMP organization in 2009 and works on various topics for future OpenMP versions. Michael Klemm was appointed CEO of the OpenMP ARB in 2016.
